Our Story

Wearing footwear is no longer just about style — it reflects your thoughts, confidence, personality, strength, and much more about who you are.

We began our journey in the industry as a manufacturer and exporter of leather fashion footwear for several reputed brands across Europe, the US, and the UK, working closely with major brands and fashion houses.

The journey of Bacconi started with our Chairman, Mr. Manoj Kumar Kulshrestha. He first established a chemical trading business, importing products from Germany and supplying them to the footwear and automobile sectors for polishing and finishing purposes.

As he gained experience, he went on to start a complete footwear manufacturing unit in 2008, earning a strong reputation within the industry. In 2011, after facing a major business setback, he remained resilient and stabilized the company with the support of trusted clients and suppliers. Today, we proudly produce footwear for several major brands.

Following in his footsteps, Mr. Dev Kulshrestha, our Managing Director and Head of Sales, completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Management, Finance, and Operations from Amity University, Noida. He also gained global exposure at Arsutoria School, Milan, Italy — one of the world’s leading footwear design institutes — where he learned about manufacturing, materials, and 3D design technology used in the industry.

Within the business, his primary focus is client management. Passionate about manufacturing, he believes that India must continue to grow through strong manufacturing setups. Encouraged by his sister, he decided to launch a homegrown brand — Bacconi.

The true vision and identity of Bacconi were brought to life by his sister, Ms. Kashish Kulshrestha, our Marketing Director. Always passionate about branding and retail, she previously worked with Nestlé India in marketing before deciding to channel her expertise into her own venture. A graduate of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi, she shaped and launched Bacconi as a brand with a clear idea and vision.
